At CWS, we believe in the transformative power of partnership—coming together to achieve what none of us could alone. This Lenten season, as we reflect on faith, justice and compassion, we invite you to join us in prayer. As we journey through this season together, let us reflect on these words found in Isaiah: “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them, and not to hide yourself from your own kin?” Isaiah 58:6-7 This passage reminds us we are called to act with justice, share our resources and care for the most vulnerable among us. We will gather for special Prayer Vigils, offering a space to deepen our collective spirit and strengthen our commitment to one another on 2/28, 3/14, 3/28 and 4/11.
